SO, It goes without saying, Swindle is a selfish mech. He loves money, sure- but he's got a soft spot for someone special. Lockdown. And when you fall in love with a mech like that? Aheh. You've got yourself a pairing where there are occasional spouts between the two, but they always come back to each other in the end. Sort of like an unspoken commitment to one another. They've both done unspeakable and (stupid) things. That's why they're perfect for each other.

And this song- It's got an unsettling and sensual vibe to it. I like how it fits with the darker theme of a 'Mercenary Swindle'. I also like to think that it's sort of a love song to Lockdown. "It's romantic in that scary, beautiful sort of way." You're watching the world fall apart, but despite everything, you're with the one that means most to you.
