I always find these pictures facinating, we always see the soldiers of the other side as evil and blind, but then I look at these pictures and am reminded.

Well, man, I can reassure you, with a 100% certainty, that, without a shadow of doubt, the soldier in the foto is Israeli.
There's no less that ten different and unique features in it, that point to that conclusion.

It's just that I've seen so many of our soldiers that I can tell them apart from a single glance.
For example - look at the soldier's helmet.

I always love pictures with subject juxtaposition like this: with something gritty and scary and serious meshed with something incredibly sweet and cute. ^^ It makes scary things like soldiers and guns and bullets a little more relatable, since they like kitties too.
Subject aside, I also really like the bright light in this pic; the way it glints of his rifle and makes the kitty glow. Nice.
