There are many theming options on Android that require no rooting or any unofficial sources. This set-up was done with a stock Nexus 5. I'll leave below the links to the Play Store if you feel inclined to experiment:

Launcher: I started from the Dark autumn theme on the Themer Launcher, but decided to switch to Nova Launcher, since it seemed more stable and light weight.

Icons: A combination from Min Icon Pack , Flight Lite & Tiny White Icon Pack. Text hidden and Icon size set to 80%.

Music widget: Modified version Project X for Zooper Widget. You'll need Zooper Widget and Media Utilities for this to work. With Zooper, you can also save the Date & Time widgets from the Themer version, so you can use these later in any launcher.

Wallpaper: 'In Rotation' by fiftyfootshadows.net. A great site from a very talented photographer with tons of high quality and soft focused wallpapers, plus music recommendations!
