Description Four days, almost non-stop work..
--
Original Size: 3200x4267
Quality: 40,000
Oversample: 2, Filter: 0.2

Pure rendering time: 1 day 12 hours 13 minutes 41.71 seconds.

Most of the time was taken re-writing the Textured Plastic script into my own script, and modifying it so it'd give the proper output.

The rest of the time was spent doing triangle tweaks and getting the gradient exactly correct for the amount of shading and coloring that I wanted/needed in this piece.

Raw flame as usual, watermark, frame, name of print and my full name added in Photoshop, no post processing done.

Print doesn't have my watermark.

Please full view because the thumbnail doesn't do it justice.

It looks like a psychedelic slinky. Great fractal! Clean graphics.

I like this one. I couldn't even begin to give you advanced critique on this. I'm just impressed with all the work that was put into it.

Very nice. I like the textured effect you put into the script here--causing the central image to repeat into the segments. The colors are nice too save for that one too-hot-pink segment, which just stands out too much for me.

In general, very nice, very smooth.

The central area, and the two side spirals could've used a more vibrant color, however. They seem to disappear against the lower portion of the fractal, when they ought to be standing out much more.

I tried to get the side spirals and the center piece as bright as possible, but unfortunately, with the way my modified script works, the white (and it was a pure fluffy white cloud white) seems to dull out and go grey when it's subjected to a curve or a radial rotation. I can't fix it because it's just the way things operate. As far as the bright pink is concerned, yeah..I'll agree, it's a bit bright, but again, I can't control that. It's the way the custom gradient worked out when applying things to a radial operation. It brightens somethings and makes others darker. Most confusing for me to work with. Overall though, I'm very pleased with the way this came out.

I'm glad you like it.

Give it some time, and you'll come up with other gradient uses.

Fiddling with 3DApo those few times I have taught me that different fractals will take gradients differently. I think your particular script just treats colors differently than you're used to.

Could use some more contrast, as the main focus currently is the top spirals; the bottom is dull filler

I like the almost 3D effect. Kinda reminds me of the magic eye books I used to have.

Very cool variation used here. Looks almost 3D the ways it layered at the bottom.
