By the way, the hand holding the spectral hand, is my own, and my other one was, at the time, holding the camera. No tripod.

One interesting component of the work that's a little subtle, but great, is that the table in the photograph has a rose motif which is pretty much the flower of love.

I love the concept. I'd love to see this done a little bit more professionally. Maybe a clean sleek background. Better lightning ... congrats on the DD though, the concept for wins it.

Ohhhh, that is cute, surreal, and sad at the same time.
It's cute for obvious reasons; wanting to hold hands with someone you want.
Surrealistically; the hand just stops, they're not there. Which brings it to the sad part.

I have a friend who claims to be sensitive to the supernatural, and she believes that the spirit of her sister watches over her. This reminded me a lot of that, mostly because she says that sometimes she feels pressure on her shoulder, like her sister's hand is there.

I'm not sure what to tell you about how I feel about this, since you'd like to know. They're good things, but difficult to place. It works for my life at the moment, though. So it's suiting and sad, but sort of uplifting and beautiful. Like I said, it makes me feel contradictory.

Reminds me about a friend of mine who's mom got hit by a truck. My friend was heartbroken that they cremated her mother before she could see her mom for the last time. "All I wanted to do was hold her hands one last time. I loved her hands, they were always warm and soft."
