you know, he looks like a real rogue and a grade A dodgy character in this pic,,,,,,but he was the kindest gentlest man I met while doing this series.

I enjoy the sharp colors you keep in your photo's.
It's so different from the soft images we see so frequently now-days.
I love how I can see every hair, every pore on his face- it's so enticing. Like I want to reach out and feel the texture of his skin.

Oversharpened is arguable... I think the overall effect is good and doesn't detract from the intensity of the subject. He himself looks 'oversharpened' - brilliant portraiture - the character and expression you've captured here is really intense. Brilliant work Andrew.
