Description
I'm a big fan of this idea among fans, so I made something of my own. Anakin battles his dark side, Darth Vader, in a lightsaber duel.I took a screenshot in my Jedi Academy game, along with the conversion "Movie Duels 2", using Anakin against Vader. Then, I put it in PhotoShop, touched it up, brightened it, and fixed the saber effects.

This is what's happening throughout the entire Episode 2-3. After that it all happened again in Episode 6, looking back and forth at his Son and Sidious, who's side should he take? And he managed to complete what he should have finished back then..

Lucas has sort of implied in a few interviews that by the time of episode 5, Vader has begun to figure out Palpatine was lying all along, but continues to serve him out of fear.

That's sad, but makes sense. He was basically Sidious' slave and puppet. The end of Return of the Jedi where he's talking to Luke is heartbreaking because it shows that he didn't want to be that way but that he had to obey his master because he was a slave to him, even if meant betraying his son. It wouldn't even surprise if he was under some sort of mind-control, at least at first.
