I'm currently studying at uni and my latest project is to make an interactive narrative. I chose to do a silhouette style of illustration and some of the work you have produced is phenomenal. Hats off!

Thank you! I like working with silhouettes. I find it more like sculpting than painting ( in photoshop anyway ) because I'm chipping away or adding to the black blob I started with in order to get the image I want and I don't have to worry about detail or shades or values etc. It is also fun to try and get across an emotion purely with a silhouette so the poses tend to be more dramatic I guess. I do still love to do detailed work though.

I'd love to see a similar picture of the "classic" joker, older comics/batman animated series/cesar romero style.
The one with class, and a sense of over the top theatre tinged with madness.
As much as I'm not a fan of nolans joker though the concept does transport over to silhouette very strikingly.
