Hey Andy. We're featuring you at Aus-Art. I had no idea you were into 3D. I noticed all the 3D images you have are a number of years old now - do you still do any?

lol - thanks Jim. Yea, I was into the 3D stuff in a big way about the time this site started up and I joined it. At the time the wallpaper scene was huge and everyone was making noiseballs in 3D Studio Max and I did a bit of that before combining it with 2D elements in Photoshop. Then it all got very cheesy and repetitive and I got bored with it. I moved on to vexels (though they weren't called that) at a time when very few people were doing anything similar and finally I got (back) into photography. Haven't really thought about the 3D stuff much since then, but I never used the software in any expert way - it was just random twiddling with textures and sliders and plugins to get an interesting result.

I know what you mean about cheesy 3D. I'm totally guilty of that, though not so much with abstract renders but with premade content. There is a lot of room in 3D land if you ever want to come back

Just one thing, some of the plastic/shap has some jagged edges. Not sure if thats from rendering, or from scaling/filtering in photoshop. Try to get rid of it other than that, i like i like

Great work, interesting shapes and composition, perfectly executed, maybe could have done more with colors but that's just my taste speaking

Im beginning to dig abstracts and this piece is one that isdriving me to love the genre. Youve made great use of the colors youve chosen and the design is superb. Excellent piece!

This wallpaper is excellent! Black, blue and white is one of my favourite color-schemes.. and you've used these three colors so well together. I love the softness of the curves, and as an abstract object, this is very well done as it looks like 'real' plastic. Nice airbrushing and lighting effects.
The background-details; dotted lines, fading grid, text, pulse-meter, horizontal and vertical rulers look great! The logo effects are very succesfull within both placement and choice of colors.. red and blue. Opposites..

Definitely a study in trendwhore ( I mean that in a good way
).... sweet abstracts, kickass typo and 2D and the color scheme rocks. Just definitely not as many comments as one would expect, thru no fault of your own of course.
