The longest single-page I've ever done. I never expected to draw these two characters so much when I first drew them.This was sort of an experiment; I could have chopped it down into shorter strips and made it a multi-part series (like The Ridley Chronicles 1 , 2 , and 3 ), but some jokes aren't as funny standing on their own. So...uh...enjoy?
EDIT: Oh, Tyson , you lovable scamp. Thanks for the namedrop on Twitter! Never expected this comic to take off.

FFFFFFF- I understand your pain. Almost everyone at my school can't even tell the difference between DC and Marvel at all and yet say they're "huge nerds" and the girls wear Batman shirts and don't even know Robin's name or that there's multiple Robins.

My cousins tried to introduce me to the Tolkien nerd culture but all I saw was a bunch of guys who waist their time learning Elvish, when they could be studying an equally unused in everyday speech, yet millions of times more prestigious language -Latin.
In my opinion nerd culture is the informational ballast you would never dare mention in a respectable circle, while esoteric knowledge is world renounced, valuable education.
Math/science/computer nerds I can understand; just look at Bill Gates, who fortunately for him, invested his time in the most prosperous industry of our century.
But the nerds who divert their attention to less marketable skills such as comic book collecting, drawing fan art, collecting anything memorabilia related, reading those specially tailored wikis meant to keep fans of popular franchises in the know and learning fictional languages are probably(there are of course exceptions) are wasting their lives in vain, and acting like snobs without being worthy of the title.
