Work in progress of my new Marilyn Monroe portrait. can you guys tell I'm leaving her hair for last? lol. I still really need to improve my skills with blonde hair -_- But I was comparing this version to my Marilyn portrait from several years back, and I noticed such a huge improvement as far as drawing the face and capturing the likeness is concerned. and it makes me so happy, you guys. I'm not at all in hyperrealism territory yet, but I can feel I'm at least scraping the tip of the iceberg. hopefully, I'll keep on improving, getting better at rendering more life like portraits every so couple of years. that's the goal anyways
