I love that these span most of Tim's long career, I always secretly LOVED the Tim/Jubes pair up as a kid

It is not my intention to "hate on her" as in whine about her endlessly. She was a Robin. She was inspirational to many. Just not to me. I didn't click with her because I didn't like the way she treated Tim, who was my favorite character. I know there's plenty of people who even dislike Tim for the same reason. I have art of her elsewhere in my gallery. I just don't ship it.

Fair enough. I wasn't trying to blame you or anything like that, it's just that I've seen too many people treat Steph like she was a disposable character, when she was actually a pretty vital part of the Bat-Family for a while, either as Spoiler, Robin, or Batgirl.
As far as the relationship thing goes, I blame the writer(s); it seems like they were too lazy to research the character, and therefore ended up writing her treating Tim in a manner which went very much AGAINST her character and the normal way she would react (when scripted by a competent writer who actually cares for the characters he/she's writing)...
Having said that, there's obviously no way I should or would blame you for not having the Steph that was completely screwed up by the writers as part of your Robin 'ships, but I have to say that I still believe that the original, "real" Steph was a great partner/LI for Tim .

Many people who ship them seem to feel that Steph's big virtue is that she could balance Tim out by being laid-back where he was uptight. There were things that Tim took seriously that Steph didn't. That didn't feel like balance to me. It felt kind of disrespectful. I felt like she tended to dismiss his feelings on a lot of things: Ariana, Batman's issues, vigilante rules, etc. I didn't like that. I get that some people did.
I know that some people felt that not telling Tim about her faked death and the trip to Africa was OOC, but while I felt it was extreme, I didn't feel like it clashed that much with the Steph I knew. Their "breakup" felt natural to me, like the older Tim just wouldn't take as much crap from people anymore, be it Steph or Bruce or Dick.
I actually came much closer to actually liking Steph post-breakup, because she was interacting more with other characters. I liked her dynamic with Damian, for instance.
Those are my basic thoughts. They did have cute moments, for sure, but I like them better as separate characters.

I am still holding out for Tim and Jubes, even after all these years.

I absolutely adore this, and I always loved Robin and Jubes as a pairing, it's a pity that they were separated by comic worlds lol
