The picture is combining my favorite manga characters with my favorite cats from Warriors. Al is holding Graystripe and Firestar is sitting on Ed's head. I saw the picture of Ed, Al, and Winry with their little selves in the second art book and decided to tweak it so instead it was Ed and Al with Firestar and Graystripe. I had a reference picture for Graystripe's head. (Warriors manga: Warriors Refuge vol. 2 page 68 panel 1) but the picture was only for his face and head so I had to come up with how his body would be... and you can see that I can't draw cat bodies. As for Firestar, I didn't have a reference picture (I couldn't find a picture of him in any of the Warriors manga that I own. i don't even know if he is in any of them.) so I had to do it from memory of what a cat looks like. (my cat was not willing to sit still for long enough. she actually wouldn't let me come near her.)

In the picture from the artbook Ed is on the other side of Al, and Al is looking the other direction, so i decided to make it mirrored. (I had a random urge to do it differently than I normally do) it was pretty difficult, but i did eventually finish.

I used my handy Faber Castell Brush Pens and the colors i used are:
107 Cadmium Yellow (Ed's eyes, Ed's hair, Firestar, Firestar's eyes, and Graystripe's eyes)
109 Dark Chrome Yellow (Ed's eyes)
132 light Flesh (Ed's skin, Firestar and Graystripe's ears and noses)
104 Light Yellow Glaze (Ed's hair, Graystripe's eyes)
103 Ivory (Al's helmet decoration and his loincloth (I put 146 Skyblue over the 103 on the loincloth))
146 Skyblue (Al's loincloth)
127 Pink Carmine (Ed's coat and hairtie, Al's eyes)
235 Cold Grey VI (Al's gloves)
232 Cold Grey III (Al, Ed's automail where it connects at the shoulder)
230 Cold Grey I (Al)
199 Black (Al, Ed's clothes)
