We salute you!Got photos back from Youmacon today from my man Kevin/SolarTempest ([link] ), and of course, they're awesome.
Just wanna say how impressed I am with them, and that I love working with that man (so much inspiration for my own photography)...it's an honor.
Anyways, my Daisy costume...worn at Youmacon last year. Probably be the last time I wear it (it's getting beat up...it needs a new home).

To be honest with you, I don't actually know what model of visor it is (a lot of people use HJC visors, which are motorcycle helmet replacement visors, that you can buy off ebay). This one had to be an over sized one though, as the CQB has a larger opening than the standard Mark VI.
But yeah, an ebay search for HJC visor should give you everything you need (they also sell them in some major motorcycle stores if ebay isn't an option).

It starts as a card stock pattern which I fiberglass, and then use a body filler (like Bondo) to smooth out everything.
That's really about it...lol

I can ask what you used to make the golden helmet visor. and what could I use for the inside of the armor?

The visor is a golden tinted HJC visor from ebay, cut to size.
What do you mean for the inside of the armor (like, lining or the under-suit)?

The armor pieces are lined with a material called headliner material, which is a thin foam with a black layer. The under suit is a neoprene wet suit (for surfing and such).
