EDIT: Hopefully fixed the colours...EDIT: Nope, still abit desaturated. Maybe its my screen or internet settings. Its vivid in photoshop, but crap on the web, even when I copy and paste this image it appears the same in photoshop.

Black Widow. Trying something new, need the practice to draw women. Decided to colour in the lines here rather than leaving them black. Dunno, think I like it.
And coincidently, they just revealed pics of Black Widow from the new Iron Man film, so good timing I think.
Inspired by and her style of drawing I must admit. She's got talent.

Even though your art does have an animated feel to it, a specific style is really noticable with your art. Plus your coloring is different from each pic as well so that adds to the inconsistenty.
But I'm enjoying the change in each piece that you post.

Very nice work - your female characters continue to improve. The exageration on the body has worked well and the face is mostly nice and feminine (though maybe a slightl less angular jawline would improves things)
Nice lighting too.

Thanks alot man. Yeh, really feeling this drawing. Shame really. I sketched out some girls before my norway trip, planned on doing more pin-ups when I was away, but then broke my thumb. So my drawing exercises and training was put on hold for 9 weeks. lol
Yeh, need to work more on the faces. I think I have done some better ones since. We'll see when they are coloured.

I remember the first few women I ever tried drawing (shudder). I used to try out th whole pin up thing but they all came out like body builders with fake boobs and wigs. Ugly just didn't cover it (another shudder of revultion - shudder).
It's one of those thing that just has to be done again and again until you get a feel for it.

Thanks buddy. Still gotta practice drawing these ladies, so expect to see more. The colouring is time consuming in photoshop. If I could use flash or illustrator it may be faster. Ah well.

EDIT: How do i adjust colours? On photoshop the colours were alot more vibrant, and now it looks like the colours have been sucked from it.

If you still have the photoshop file, rather than the compressed one, you could save it as a .png this time around. You saved it as a .jpg which takes the colors out of the picture but doesn't take up near as much memory.
I can tell you saved as a .jpg because the file has .jpg at the end of the url by the way ;D

Ok, i tried that and it didnt look different. I boosted the saturation 30% and it looks a bit better, but now the photoshop version looks crap. lol Who knows.

It's probably because you already saved as a .jpg. I would guess thats the problem.

funnily enough, i saved it as a PNG and it came out the same as the jpeg...desaturated. Although maybe its just my computer screen. Is it desaturated with you? Her costume should be dark purple with the highlights a brightish purple/pink, and not really gray.
