This is absolutely stunning, and it's one of the few times in my life where I audibly gasped when I saw a painting for the first time. Just the aesthetic, the mood it gives, I can instantly hear the atmospheric sounds of distant cars in the background, the occasional owl, a slight gust of wind. It doesn't happen often for me, so when it does I make sure I let everyone know lol. It's as if it were a scene straight out of an anime. Consider me head over heels in LOVE with this one!

wow i'm just really drawn to the shooting star. Everything seems to lead to it and focus on it~ I also love the single glow of warm light from the lamp post as well, though. Adds some lovely contrast
