After reading the manga I can't stop thinking about that, in my opinion Hylia did fall in love with the first hero.

And it's awesome that the first incarnation of Hylia (Zelda in Skyward) DID fall in love with Link, when you think about it, The Legend Of Zelda tells a story about a undying loyalty and love.

Yea, he did exist! During the Wing Ceremony, Zelda mentions that the sailcloth she made is just like the one the goddess gave to her chosen hero, meaning that there was a Hero in Hylia's time--long before SS Link was around.

It is zelink, technically the FIRST zelink going of the current timeline we know of. Hylia is imo the "original" prototype for Zelda. After she did her thing, every zelda after her carries the bloodline of Hylia, you know this story

Actually, Skyward Sword does actually mention that there was indeed an original Hero before SS Link, and of course, we know that Hylia did exist in the Skyward Sword canon too... so yeah, he may not have been imprisoned like in the manga, but he did exist in the canon so you can Hylink to your heart's desires

I am a sucker for the manga as semicanon - because Nintendo haven´t confirmed or denied them. Also, it was especially commisioned from Akira Himekawa - to me that feels like it has atleast some weight. Then again, I love the idea of Link getting together with a goddess!!
