There's so much beauty captured in this shot, both in terms of the model and the composition itself; it leaves me somewhat speechless. The tones, the contrast, the pose, it's quite close to perfection if I may say so!

the eyes, the gateway to the soul. something about light blue eyes, and angels. I look at my own rarely. the dress colour, straps, and skin texture lighting with shadowing to the face really focus back on angel eyes.

photographer-models are always a rarity. You have the best of both worlds! although it must be so very difficult taking self portraits. i'm always impressed when is see photographers that can model
haha FM is much more mature than DA. although DA has a more critical eye. FM is mostly praise whereas DA is much more constructive. being on both, do you find that too?

I also think the people on FM rather say only the 'nice' things about your work than something that really helps you to get better. But I have to admit I'm more like a lurker on FM (shame on me!!). Over here I already had some very good comments that I could use to make my stuff a bit more appealing to the viewer.
