I think I wanted her to half fade into the BG/ half stand out, so that;s where the colors came from.

Woah, that background makes me feel all spacey~ Looks like it was hell to draw the lineart, though. Lots of detail, I commend you! I love the butterfly girl's outfit, and I also like how the wings are the same color as the background but don't fade into it and get lost. The colors are seriously awesome... ~ @__@

I think you were pretty successful with the half-and-half feel you were going for.
I know I should be commenting on how pretty the picture is etc, but all I can think about is how much ink that background must've taken.

If one refill fills a Sketch around 6-8 times, what would you estimate for a CIAO?
