Just a few more designs on the way. As one may be able to tell, the United Sovereingty of Nations has a bit of a thing for assault rifles.1: M-60V Auto Rifle - Another simply made, but effective rifle, the M-60V Auto Rifle is a little more than meets the eye. Though a bit lightweight in construction and appearance, this weapon is undoubtedly a heavy assault rifle, as it fires powerful high mass hollow-point rounds. These projectiles are somewhat similar to the idea of a fragmentary round, but different in execution, as the bullet physically expands as it travels through the target, rather than breaking apart on contact. Unsurprisingly, this makes the weapon quite effective against just about every type of enemy. The weapon is also long ranged and has surprisingly low recoil, with moderate accuracy. The popularity of the M-60V has fluctuated over time, though with the advent of more aggressive combat between the Sovereignty and hostile powers, this weapon has begun to see much more action. For more specific statistics, the M-60V fires 8.9x39mm hollow-point projectiles at 600 RPM with a muzzle velocity of about 1950m/s, drawing from a 62 round magazine. The rifle can also fire in semi-auto, where it is significantly more accurate; it also comes equipped with a simple 1.5x to 2x scope.
2: M-25XE Solar Glaive - A fusion of old and extremely new, this rare but very formidable rifle is intended for heavy usage across the Sovereignty in the coming years. The main body of the M-25XE comes in the form of an automatic photon rifle with a similar performance to the likes of the standard issue XE-5, though with a slightly greater effective range and accuracy. Alone, this would make for a well rounded and effective rifle, but the M-25XE also incorporates the latest in plasma weapon technology. Built into the underbarrel section of the weapon is an extremely advanced long range cannon capable of firing a highly condensed bolt of argon-fluorine plasma at extreme velocities. Unsurprisingly, this part of the weapon is intended for eliminating tightly packed groups of enemies, blasting down low scale fortifications, or destroying small vehicles; at long ranges too. Essentially, the Solar Glaive can function as both an assault rifle and a long range explosive cannon, with the capability to switch between modes quite seamlessly. The only downside to this weapon is it’s fairly hefty weight and a very high production cost. For more specific statistics, this weapon fires 9mm twin crimson lasers at 800 RPM in it’s primary mode, drawing from a 105 round rechargeable battery. In it’s secondary mode, the weapon requires a 0.9 second charge time before firing a highly condensed bolt of explosive argon-fluorine plasma at a muzzle velocity of 2700 m/s, drawing from a 3 shot fuel cell. The rifle also comes equipped with a simple 1.5x to 2.5x zoom scope.
