This didnt work out quite as well as i had wanted. It is supposed to be (kind of) the sun and sun rays, hence the 'here comes the sun~ the beatles'. The blue bit was actually sky trhat i painted but i thought it looked too bar so i doodled over it. now it just looks strange being blue i think.. maybe not.. meh i dont know. ive been looking at it too long ( about 4 or 5 hours). comments and critisism welcome. xxRelated content

your stuff makes me feel very calm for some reason, despite the assumed chaos of the picture.

2 questions, how long does it take to do and do you have a concept n mind before or do you just run with it

That one took me approx 5 hours... but i didnt do it all at one sitting so give or take an hour. i had the idea of a sun and used the beatles song as a start. so i thought of sunrise so i wanted it to be as if the sun was riseing. (thats why the round bit is at the bottom.. so it can rise) The actual patterns and shapes just runn off the pen and are generally unplanned, though i often use a same little bit in a few doodles e.g there is a spiders web and i think tht is in about 3 of my doodles. hope that is clear... x

clear as crystal, wish mine only took 5 hours!! yes i generally use a few similar shapes in mine as i can't think of much original stuff, it's nice to know how others do theirs
