I just finished reading the books The Plague Dogs by Richard Adams, and I loved it, so I knew that I had to do a tribute to it. I love the songs that Snitter hears throughout the book, so I did one of them in Calligraphy and decorated the border with images from Snitter's mind. Starting with the Cobweb, going clockwise:
Cobweb: Snitter always says that there are cobwebs in his head, and he tries to clear the cobwebs from his 'eye' while in the shed
Mountains: an illustration I drew from the book, with the moon and stars (the stars are really tiny fleas)
A fly: Snitter always says that flies come out of his head
Rowf and Snitter's pawprints leading into the ocean, and the Isle of Dog in the distance.
The mouse that Snitter says he hears
The Tod's face
Snitter's collar
Rowf's mouth, with sheep's blood
The lorry that hit Snitter's master
Snitter's skull with mist pouring out of it
The gun that Snitter sets off
Sideways next to the gun is a hand holding a scalpel----Snitter's brain surgery
And that's it. I recommend the book to anyone's who's never read it, though be prepared to spen a while reading it.
