Description That's a small gift for Dear Hope you like it!

That's 's character Fanhir Nives Kal'ehr
She's albino and has white hair but because of the light it looks purple (actually I failed to erase unnecessary shadows - my eraser ain't that tinny). It's early morning and the sun just appears from the horizon, still shadows are deep. Scanning destroy the glowing colors (in reality it looks really glowing especially grass on the horizon), but anyway it's pretty good I think. And I've drawn trees!!!

Aww! Thank you! Katanas are rather big (1,20 meter long as I remember)... maybe I should have done it thiner...

I love the colours on the sky - great job! And tress looks nice too The one thing I'm not sure are her legs - aren't they a little too short? (or maybe it's my obssesion )

Actually I'm not sure about her legs - sometimes they look OK - maybe again by eternal problems with head size... There's a link to ref picture in description... you can check it if you want to be sure
Thank you very much for a bit critique and kind words - I would draw it much faster if not trees ... and you can't see the real sky color - it's a bit brighter and colors look more glowing

Very long sleeve - you can see only 2 fingers (her shirt was designed like this)

I really like the atmosphere of the draw... How the ray of light reflected on her hairs. And.... You draw so gooood the trees!
I especially like her eyes, her look so stern and sad at the same time. The way she caresses her katana...
The dress is sooo fantastic, because it's her way of dressing (she also likes to dress in a somewhat masculine)...
You capture her in the way amazing...
You can't image my happiness, and a simple comment is so limited!

Awwwwww! I'm so happy you like it! I just wanted to draw her wearing men's clothes 'cause she travels a lot and probably had to do it (and I like men's clothes). Drawing her face was such a pleasure 'cause she's very beautiful. Colors ain't very exact on the scan and I couldn't fix it with adjustment (maybe because I used that 'luminescent' yellow, orange and pink to add glow to normal colors - it gives a glowing effect but scanner hates it)
I can send you a non-resized scan if you want it (because DA resizing makes pictures blurred) - it'll be 3 times bigger (though with paper texture)

Yes, you're right, Fanhir had to do meet men always... I write a bit of her story, but you capture in way perfect her mood, her way of dressing... And the title! Is perfect, because yes, she travels a lot (and know a lot of language.... Not like myself that is bad also with italian, ahhahahahaha)!
It's so beautiful in screen... I think in real this work is sooooo amazing (like your all works...).. Damn scan that ruined the art!

Thank you! Fahnir is a beautiful character - it was a pleasure to draw her (I wanted to make her hair lighter - but it was impossible with my eraser - I would have erased everything)

mh .. I think I understand the problem .. the next time to draw clear hair i can advise you to NOT mark the lines of each single hair, but leave them completely white. In The end add only a few lines with a pencil or silver pencil.. you'll see that the next time you will be more clear! i hope i can help you

Спасибо! А цвета реально сканер покушал - я так старалась, смешивала норм карандаштки с флюорисцнетными (такой желтый и оранжевый.

У тебя что за сканнер? Юзай Хьюлит Пакард - зэ бэст сканнер эва! Я вот хочу купить себе сканнер на формат А3, но бабла нет Т_Т

Мне кажется с любым сканером такой карандаш так будет - пигмент немного с другими отражающими свойствами...
Я так-то хочу сканер прикупить, но его покупать надо... мне кажется только cannon или nikon лучше будут - у HP принтеры нормальные, но те фирмы и фотики делают... а это как-то ближе к фотикам.

Ну не знаю... я своим НР пользуюсь уже.. нуу.. лет шесть нарно - когда система слетела я с трудом в и-нете драйвера на него отыскала, такой он старый, но я на него не жалуюсь, самое что забавное. Мне нравица его цветовая всеядность, так что.. даже и не знаю.. что лучше... не с чем сравнивать ++

Я сканировала ручки металик... да, блеск пропадал, но сам эффект почему-то сохранялся, всм было видно что это металик О_о

Понятно, что видно, но уже не то... а у меня большая площадь так покрашена... с норм. карандашами такого не возникает... сдвиг по каналам неравномерный получился... вернее сдвиг для норм. розового и флуорисцентного розового разный... не могу выровнять один цвет не затрвгивая другой.
