Lovely shading! I love night-inspired images and characters, and this one caught my eye! I like how you drew the sky, it reminds me of the Milky way; the lips are pretty and the haircut is adorable! Great job, keep it up!

I happened to find this drawing standing out for some reason while browsing through the premium thumbshare section of the forum. Very well ... might as well take a closer look.
I like the choice of palette used in here. Except for the skin, the rest are predominantly blue with some violet. The shades along the skin has violet, which helps to connect her skin with the rest of the drawing.
The transition from the brightness (behind the left side of her head) to the starry darkness (behind the right side of her head) helps to add depth to the background. The blue and the white stripes over her shirt meshes with the brighter portion of the background.

Thank you for your remark about skin color. I thought about it too, but I'm not really confident to do it traditionally. I think I need to practice with digital coloring in this manner first to better understand color dynamics.

With regards to Vio and Stars, I think the choice of colors used for her skin is appropriate.
Because of the fact that the choice of palette used in this piece is predominantly in blue and violet, traditional skin colors might not have worked out.
