You're crazy. FF8 wasn't an awesome story but the gameplay was fun as hell. C'mon, you can't say you didn't have fun, now can you?

I hadn't have fun at all... i even gave the game to a friend, i didn't liked anything in that game: the main character is emo, his weapon is stupid, the system is totally nuts (stealing magic really?), the story is ok but not good...For me it's the worst FF so far (i hadn't played FFXIII by the way, some say it sucks)
FFX is not far beyond by the way, damn i hate you so much Tidus!
My 3favorite RPGs on PSX are FF7, Suikoden2 (despite its cheap design) and BOF 3

No, you're wrong, it was just a quick top3, I played RPGs on SNES before, like FF6 or Chrono Trigger (which are better than FF7 for example. I also liked the shining force series on Genesis.
Well on PSX i also like grandia, FF9 and Chrono Cross, unfortunatly, most of those RPGS didn't got an european version (chrono cross and xenogear for example).

Nope, i know, but finding a copy of phantasy star in France was HARD, and even if you got it, it was in english (imprt),not really nice when you're 9 yrs old...

ahhhh, yes, I forgot, you did say that you're European. And I'm pretty sure a 90 dollar pricetag wouldn't have stricken your fancy either... Thing was EXPENSIVE over here as just a regular game.

Yup, genesis and snes games were really expensives, even more when you are a kid :/

Yeah , that's sad, the serie was good...But maybe the 5th episode killed the serie.

No, but I heard it was very fucking irritatingly monotonous, so I was like, to hell with getting stuck at spots where I'd have to constantly level up, I just want to read/watch the story. I'll be damned if I got stuck playing an RPG that I want to play through but don't have the time for.

Like Old School RPG were you had to level up again and again to defeat toughs bosses

More like it was theoretically a deadend game - back in the old days of Nintendo and Sega Genesis, there were RPGs or even action games where if you missed something or did something too early, you were stuck there, forever, unable to beat the game. Now notice I said theoretically when it comes to BOF5 - it isn't that you'd run into a dead end, but by the time you finished getting to the point where you could finally move on, you've already decided fuck it, time to play something else. It had a different save system in that you had to have coins for each save you made, making it a sort of resident evil rpg hybrid. If you died, you had the option to (and I don't remember correctly, so don't take my word for it) start the game from last save point, but with all your equipment and or back at level 1, or get penalized monetarily. It was said that it's garaunteed that you're going to die playing that game, because supposedly they throw some really fucked up overpowered bosses at you.

Oh bad...It remembers me game like "saga Frontier 2" (not really a good one but ok), in this game, the equipement were made or stone or wood, and they broke...Too bad when you have to beat a boss with your fists.
I really hate equipement alteration

I think I know what you're talking about. I HATED that game. I saw my friend play it over my house, and I was like "Oh joy, a new rpg to play". And then I noticed how eerie the game was and how out of nowhere, you get stuck fighting these 5 enemies that decimated your party in one round. A fucking monkey and some other silly shit. It was HORRIBLE.

AngsTheWicked In reply to Shen-fn-Woo [2010-09-14 15:06:41 +0000 UTC]
Lol, i finished it, once you got the system and how you're supposed to learn magic and skill it's ok. But the equipement was awful.
Also the game as long dialogs really long one...Even some chapters were just dialogs...I really wonder why square made a french version of that game and did not for xenogear or chrono cross...heresy!

Just Youtubed SagaFrontier 2..... nah, that's not the game. Must've been the first one. It had one main character called Red, and other protaganists like a genderless ...... ummm... dragon or something? And you would just be walking around town with your 3 team mates and all of a sudden, some random NPC gets behind your party and follows you around and the game says "A DRUNK HAS JOINED YOUR PARTY".

Do you draw the upper lips like that to signify that the girls you draw are ditzy/stupid? That's what normally signifies throughout anime.

AngsTheWicked In reply to Shen-fn-Woo [2010-09-13 16:56:42 +0000 UTC]
I've noticed that you only comment on my works when i draw lips like that...Are you a maniac or something?
I'm not surprised by the way, there's so much weirdos on DA.
But i'll answer your question: Yes it's on purpose

Shen-fn-Woo In reply to AngsTheWicked [2010-09-13 17:04:47 +0000 UTC]
Actually, you didn't answer it at all. I know it's on purpose, I'm asking if you draw them that way to make them look like there's nothing going on up there.
And yeah, I guess it must be absurd to pick out a unsightly design flaw, but hey, what you think is what you think.
I watch you because you tend to be one of the better muscle girl artist - if it weren't for the copy pasta in almost every picture, it'd be perfect, actually.

AngsTheWicked In reply to Shen-fn-Woo [2010-09-13 17:55:10 +0000 UTC]
I meant: yes it's one purpose to make them look a little stupid, take Nina: She's an angel, she's bonde, that mouth totally fits her in my opinion.
But if you look at the pic i made for soviet superwoman for example, the mouth is different, because it's a supposed to be a serious matter and the character is not supposed to looks stupid/cute (its kinda the same for me).
And what's a "copy pasta" ?

Shen-fn-Woo In reply to AngsTheWicked [2010-09-14 13:14:39 +0000 UTC]
Also, you're right. Nina looks like she's totally gone in this picture.

Well that explains it, so I won't bother you about it again.
And copy pasta is 4chan jargin for Copy and Paste, which generally denotes that someone is either reposting something old, or in this case, a pattern or such in which you do the same thing over and over.

I don't really share this feeling...Or maybe i don't understand what's your talking about...But if you want very repetitve artists why don't you watch "commissions beasts machines" like bokuman...

Shen-fn-Woo In reply to AngsTheWicked [2010-09-14 14:44:55 +0000 UTC]
Well, the doofball lips is your copypasta (in that you do it a lot), and yeah, I watch bokumen, and you're right, his powers of copypasta are supreme. He really needs to change style.......BADLY. Not because I want him to, but because it's just bad when stuff starts looking the same day in day out.

AngsTheWicked In reply to Shen-fn-Woo [2010-09-14 14:51:28 +0000 UTC]
Oh ok, yes i draw those kind of lips very often, it's true.
As for Bokuman, i removed him from my watch list...His skills are good, but his stuff is always the same: stand up character, view from front, same background (which is not really a background by the way). I was bored and deleted his stuff without watching it.
