Description Designed by Enrica Dray. Really, really easy modules... And entertaining enough to fold, but putting it together was a pain in the ass, so I ended up using glue (I regret nothing). Please don't throw stones at me for storing this under the origami category even if it's been put together with glue. D:
It took me a lot more time to make the quilled flowers than all the modules, and it wasn't particularly funny, plus I had to manually cut the paper strips since I usually don't do quilling so I don't have the materials around, and using split end q-tips as quilling tools gets old real fast. I don't think I'm gonna do quilling ever again, but I might fold the model again in different colors (or just plain white) because I think this one ended up overly decorated and it kind of makes me embarrassed looking at it, lol.
(also sorry if the quality is nothing much I shake like hell when I'm taking photos I couldn't take a good one to save my life)

I honestly have no clue how to make these Kusadamas, but it looks very interesting with all those different layers. I also like the colours you used and while it's heavely decorated I don't think it's too much.

This is so lovely! I like how you combined quilling with origami.
For kusudama there is no problem in using glue

Thank you for your comment! I'm glad there haven't been many upset comments about the use of glue, haha

I remember we had to make this in high school. It was hell to make . Great piece.

Thank you! I'd probably have enjoyed high school more if we did more than sit through teachers droning on all the time...

haha, I got you. I slept through almost all my classes. My high school memories are one huge blur now I did this in an optional art class and I used clear plastic instead of paper and painted it with glass-paint. It was hell to make and the results were nowhere near what you presented here. good job

Come on nobody will be mad at you for using glue in modular origami, even I use glue!

Plus it's GORGEOUS!!! (first time I use this word,seriously... xD)

If there's anyone pushing you, just call me and I'll defense you, with my pointing finger!

Haha I sure hope so, since yanno there's a lot of people who insist that folded paper connected with glue or wet folded isn't origami at all... I'm glad there's people who don't mind and even do the same, makes me feel less ashamed about it
also I'm really happy for the compliment, thanks a lot! You're too kind

for the youtube tutorial www.youtube.com/watch?v=xlHwym…
or alternatively stranamasterov.ru/node/157778 - it's in russian so you might want to use chrome or google translator, but it's really well explained in this one. i hope these tutorials help, if after looking at them you still have some problems i'll help, but you should be fine
i swear if you tell me it's stable after putting it together without glue i will murder someone   just saying
