"A New Wind"

After my last picture had Remi being on the sad side - [link] - I thought I'd do a happy one of him. That's him on the right side seeing Moira Dewey the punk platypus (center) for the first time. She's a brand new character I just created.

Prior to this "why, hello there " moment, Remi was just walking up the path, presumably looking for something to sketch (thus the pencil on his ear) and Moira was just walking down the path, listening to her "mp3 player" (or, as I've written on it, "bmp3 player". My initials are B. M. P. for Brent Michael Parker.) I think this is the first time any kind of recent technology has appeared in one of my pictures.

I gave her short, brightly colored hair in part because Remi's hair is so long and dark.
