EDIT: Fixed Matt's cigarette. XDApparently Matt is trying to show Mello that it's possible to smoke in the rain... and failing.
I haven't actually done a serious CG in a while, and it shows. :< The coloring was painful. So, so painful. I was really ready to give up halfway through this pic, but... I guess I obviously didn't.
Ah well. The rain turned out nicely, but it was originally supposed to be a sunset scene.(On a separate note, why is there a fanart category in digital art when there is a fanart genre? And why put "books/novels, movies/tv shows, games, etc." under "manga/anime"? Sigh, categorization's getting confusing.)

This picture gives me shivers. It actually looks like they are reminiscing about their childhood at Wammy's House, how innocent and carefree they were as playful kids. The rain makes this picture even more touching. Like Mello and Mattie are uncertain about their future, you know, they are only teenagers and only have each other to rely on. The road lies ahead of them is gonna be tough, but at least they have each other. EPIC FRIENDSHIP WINS!!!!!!!!!! Sorry about the bad English, I am half French, halfΒ Italian-German.
