Posting this just because I don't want to leave replies on comments over a year old. 

I feel like to a point, this can be called a fursona. It is an anthropomorphism version of okami, yes. But the creator also isn't claiming this as THEIR fursona. We could view it as okami's if that makes it feel better. What is a fursona beyond an anthropomorphic character? The colors are based off okami, yes, but is its form not made by the creator? We might as well argue that anyone wearing a sports team jersey isn't a real fan because they just wear the colors and don't play the game. Same here (in my mind at least) This character wears the colors of okami, that's where the similarity begins and ends I feel. 

My SO even got mad and spouted plagiarism, which I don't feel is correct. If I wanted to get technical, Okami herself (if i remember, okami is female, might be wrong) is a representation of a Japanese art style, or at least some form of Asian art, in the way her markings are set. Though I cant remember the one I'm thinking of. Kabuki actors or something like that I believe. 

Sorry, my point is, it made me sad to see and hear people claiming this hard work was plagiarism, regardless of what character a fursona's colors are BASED OFF OF, an incredible amount of time and effort went into drawing and coloring this. 

I for one find this to be a very beautiful work of art. As I saw mention that it was done by hand, I cant imagine the time and practice that went into the shading alone. On top of that, the lack of visible mistakes is even more astonishing. Whatever amount of time you spent on this work, I commend you for your patience and effort. It is a beautiful piece. Something that I would consider even buying a large print of to go in my home, had I the money for it.

i like this but i feel its too much of a rip off of the gamr Okami and you even did the sane patterns and name
