He's an artificial life form

And he is also made from Shadow's blood.

And no, this is not a joke character.

Now before you go getting your pitch forks, hear me out.

I thought him up when thinking about how Gerald planned on curing his granddaughter's NIDS using Shadow. So I thought "Wait, How would he know that Shadow's blood is safe for her?". Because, you know, his blood could apparently cure her.

And so Meadow here was supposed to answer that question. He is basically the result of a secret side project, known as Project Meadow, to test if Shadow's blood was safe for Maria without risking her health/life further by just injecting her with it. The project was basically to use Maria's DNA for a life form and then injecting Shadow's blood into it So not only does he have similarities to Shadow, but Maria as well.

And if you're wodering why he's more hedgehog than human, well my headcanon is that the professor used sex cells of anthropomorphic creatures for Project Shadow, since Shadow himself looks more hedgehog than alien, and you can't really make life out of nothing. The same applies to Meadow here.

And if you're still mad that he's a thing, don't worry, this was just for fun. I doubt I'd be using him at all.
