Thanks! Well, I go about it by adding a textured image on a new layer on top of everything, then setting it to overlay or multiply depending on the kind of image.. and normally I'll use a mask to remove some of the texture from what I want to keep smooth. Hope that helps!

The abstract, colorful feel is just amazing. I love the smooth, peaceful feel this portrays! And the way it seems like she drifts off into nothingness... gives it a really nice mythological sense, almost..
My gosh. This is so amazing. I can't even describe it! The smoothness of her lips and skin, the mystery behind her eye, the way her eye sparkles with something that looks a lot like despair and sorrow...
And the way that the simplicity of it all just pulls it all together.
The one thing I hate about this piece is the fact that it's without 1. a DD, and 2. a spot on the front page! Your talent needs more recognition! 5 faves? My goodness.
