Upon impact, the first thing I saw was the lighted half of the face that the ball forcefully directed me towards...
The face held me for quite some time as it conveyed not the physical force of her delivery of the ball, but her control over the target the ball was being delivered to.
She made me feel as if I had been taken prisoner by her dominance of, or maybe control of my gaze, until I acknowledged her as my master for that brief moment in time, and then asked to move aside as the next supplicant is brought in to face her.
Her stance, the way she holds me hostage with her eyes, the subservience of the background, the royalty of the purple, the shadows she appears to command, and the fear displayed by the ball as it pleads with you fulfill the command given to it to behold its Mistress, all make me feel as if I have been given, albeit briefly, the privilege of being allowed to behold true control...
The blurryness of the ball is an issue though, it gives the impression that it is not doing its job to its full potential, and because of it, it bleeds her of the respect due to her. When I return my view to the blurred ball, it looks as if it is speaking ill of her out of weary bitterness. Its "aura" is too bright for a scene under her control, trying to steal some of her recognition out of resent. For that reason, I could not give the "Impact" the 5 stars I wished I could. The ball robbed her of that half star.
