A comic page mostly done to see how well my layout intstincts are. Im not a fan of the 4th panel (the clueless Anji one) but the rest isnt bad I guess, for sketchy stuff. LOOK, THEYRE ON A TRAIN, HOW ORIGINAL!!*shoots self*

yep, those layouts can deffinately be a pain....especialy if you know what you want in the panels...but all your missing is that certain placement to give it that special comicy feel 
anywho, this is pretty interesting dude..even if it is just for some practice.....it'll still be pretty neat to see how it continues ^w^

I started kinda in the middle of the story with this one, so I'll end up redrawing it when I get around to it. Or by then I might have scrapped this scene all together.

yeah, I can somewhat relate...I've already got a bunch of pic's sorted for certain action / romance scene's I want done in particular...but now I'm kinda considering other options of approach due to story change's etc... *sigh's*
meh, I guess I could blame it on outside inspirations if I wanted to....like manga an anime lol X3 but..when it comes down to it, it's whatever moves you right?

Comics are good. Im partial to manga moreso, I dont know why. I think I enjoy the simplicity of monochrome.

Mmm, I like it ^_^. There's something about three panels that sit on the right hand side that seem a bit unnatural to read. The panel that you stated you were uncomfortable with is really nice though i feel it would have more impact as a more centeral panel as it seems to be layed out in a short period of time sequence of events way and the quietness of the panel feels like it would need more space for reflection ':3 The panel afterwards, (the "i'm fine" panel) seems strangely positioned far from the right hand side though you may have your reasons. and as for the last panel i think perhaps if it were shown closer to his hear with the same view it would really give more of the sense of being deep in thought moreso ^__^ but hell, i havn't drawn a comic before so feel free to ignore me. but i like it so far ';d

Thank you, this was the type of comment I was hoping for. Im not comfortable with the last 3 panels either to tell you the truth. This is my first attempt really at drawing any pages, so hopefully I'll get some sort of sense of it soon enough.

wow man. this ios nice work here though. I really like her smile in the sixth panel best. I thing that shot told me alot about her character. great work XD this is a fave! XD

Thats actually my favorite panel, although I dont think it came out quite like I wanted it. I wanted a more concerned smile look.
