So, since this picture was featured during Tennocon I figured it was save to upload.

This is the cover of a Warframe fanzine, titled "This is Who We Are", I participated in and that's all done now and will be free to download once we decided on a hosting service.

I want to make sure I can include all the contact info of the participants, so websites with a character limit (like Twitter) are not the best place to post it. But I will add all the WIPs for this guy (and my two other pictures) to Tumblr and link it here once I've got that post done.

Onto the picture:

The worm won out of three different possible designs and it was my favourite, because the small figure has so little details that it's a good placeholder for whoever wants to imagine themselves in that position. I knew that the artist working on the dragon uploaded pictures to artstation, so I had references, and I wanted to make the picture mostly clouds and thought it was doable.

The clouds actually took the longest time to draw and I passively watched all of the GameGrumps "Zelda: Skyward Sword Let's Play" and listened to the first season of "Friends at the Table" while drawing them, so a good 50 hours I think?

I used mostly SAI and Photoshop and to get the complicated design right I also made a few low poly models in blender and looked at Mandelbulber images for the background.
