Ehh.. This is Uruha from the GazettE..Um.. This is my first attempt at making something realistic like that..
I made some mistakes.. because i did the basic sketch when I hadn't had a good grip on the tablet yet..
It took a lot of time.. because I chickened out a lot in between.. especially when doing the hair
The nose is wrong..
and He has extra swollen and kinda bloody lips O.o
(Aoi kissed him too hard XDD)
But now I've got a hang of it and hope that the others would be better, i hope.. *sighs*

I am.. a little... that I could do this.. someone told me that even if you have a tablet.. it's not easy to bring about photo-like reality...
I know what they mean.. and though i made mistakes..

I was really awed by all the realistic portraits that other artists have done.. and so as soon as I got my tablet, i wanted to do something like this XD
This is not exactly like him.. but can't be helped

Yeah,, I've never drawn digitally realistic drawings before XD
It took me quite a while to figure out how to handle the layers and everything...
the nose is wrong and the forehead is too small.. and something wrong with the shadings.. >__>

I am very bad at proportions and I am even more bad at drawing Uruha or someone else, so I don't see such things ^^' I only can draw Ruki and Reita chibis! XD

Hmm..yes XD using traditional media.. but yeah.. i fail at proportion too most of the time.. XD
I love drawing chibis.. mainly because they dont require you to maintian proper proportion.. the bigger the head, the cuter it looks

but for me it is still difficult to draw a Ruki chibi that looks like Ruki
so I have a lot respect for people who can make realistic paintings of them, like you did here
