Well, I have been to MCM London and do some cons in Germany: Connichi and Dokomi. And there is always the Netherlands and Japan Expo in France. But it's a drag to pack a suitcase with cosplay materials.
Yeah, space marines are a different type. Sisters are so mysterious and beautiful^^
If I do RPG, I'd like to create my own character though^^ maybe next year

Yes, that's half of the fun of RPGs ~ you create someone unique - who then does whatever s/he wants, paying no attention to you ever again

I'm doing D&D at the moment with a couple of friends. Not like life-action RPG, but we had a lot of fun. It's fun to shape my wizard elf. I take a lot of inspiration from the Sisters to form her character

Ah, I was also talking about pen and paper RPGs, not full blown LARP - I've done that too and loved it, but no time and money right now and no group I wanted to travel with 
As for pen and paper I did something similar to D&D (DSA= Das schwaze Auge), some Midgard, but mainly Shadowrun 
Still wanna find/join a WH40K group, but yeah, time and money again XD
