Self awareness is to know about the inner-self: the deceit of the heart; the niches of gnarly growth and twisted thought. Its also to know the better side of one's self: the fruit of goodness and generosity; those parts that look outwardly and inwardly beautiful, where the pretty colours begin to radiate and overcome something more than the overall picture of ourselves.

To me, this is like a snap-shot of my own soul as I live this life. The star is the Spirit of Enlightenment (God), whereby those prettier and better parts of self are nourished and maintained. The other areas are still being worked on, and gradually through the walk of life, these too will turn to something more beautiful. It is the work of a life-time, and inevitably there will be some areas that will, in the end, simply have to be discarded...

VERY cool fractal composition! And the point of light is a perfect touch to give the whole a sense of "context".

I didn't even had to read the title to imagine this as a tree. Great job

Thank you so much - I guess its self explanatory as a tree, although some see other things. Its amazing how different people interpret a fractal really, which is partly what makes them so interesting!

Indeed. Some of the ones I do, I give them a specific title, but many people see really differnet things in them! It's very interesting ^^

Put your best side to the light and watch it grow and flourish. I see this with a bit of a different mindset than is probably meant, but it's still quite powerful and full of beauty. Plus I've always been a sucker for trees, so again you've left me with a smile!

What I like in the very large version I have at home, is the fact that those beautiful fruit are very much in evidence throughout the fractal, reflecting the life's work that's already in action throughout the personality! (If only I felt like that sometimes lol!) Thank you so much for your lovely comment and the

I love the concept behind this.

This particular fractal and your comments in the "Artist's Comments" section remind me of a particular Biblical quote, John 15:1-17 (vine-and-branches). Very nice.

Spot on - and I will add this reference under the image, because that's exactly what I had in mind when writing what I did as I did the upload (I simply forgot exactly where to find the reference at the time - yet John's Gospel is my favourite because he records so much of what Jesus had to share with us...)! Thank you for this, and its fantastic to know that you believe this too!

I thought it was fascinating, and found it really quite significant. In the large image I have on my computer, all those "budding" fruitful areas can clearly be seen repeating themselves all around, and with the one major one that can be seen to the right, which is obviously a "leaning" towards a particular good area in my life, it seems significant that the rest of the areas of the soul are also budding into beauty, even though the marred-ness is still terribly evident... It gives me hope!

When I say "This one is crazy" I mean it in a good way!!! your use of the spirals on the right with the colored center have so much depth, like they are twisting down into the depths, and you use light to contrast an 'upward' or outward 'horizon'. Excellent!!!!
