This really has the effect of an old black and white photograph. Like a photograph of a rare and delicate ornament that adorned someone's living room back in the 1950's. Part of a larger collection perhaps?

now you imagine the image around -- i like!
it's situations before images, below them, around them... and so on... sometimes all this seems to grow or flow into each other to me now... may sound a bit crazy, it's fathomless...
time to go back to these collections too, maybe "bead" is a step... not sure. there was a glass bead collector friend of GTC time ago... you know. you were there too.

Ah the GBC and the GTC! I remember them well. All those tiles you catalogued in virtual 3d space. So much time has passed now, those files are becoming "virtual antiques" themselves! Just like the originals they were based on
Well, going back to the past for inspiration never gets old because art is ageless, timeless and probably "fathomless" too.
Good luck with your time travelling Anna. Be sure to bring back some relics with you!

This is just me mind you, but my first impression is 'two tears'. Makes no sense, but that's me. Makes no sense. LOL
Very nicely rendered. Like the focus changes. Draws eye across horizontal, then vertical depth. A 'T' eye movement.

With the 't" I'm thinking the eyes moves left to right stops at the objects, moves right to the edge and stops, retraces back to the objects, and moves back into the background. So it has 3d movement across and into the image (depth). The pyramid, or eye of RA, is a very interesting subject!

seriously, maybe i watched too many bw photos on dA -- they are one of the best categories,
mind boggling some of them...
so.
and if we try long enough we might imitate photo with 3D and after that 3D with eye...
