Description
So The Hobbit continues to fuel my artistic imagination, with Thorin being one of my favorite characters from the film (of course!!!). I love the idea of exploring his past after the devastation of Erebor, with him moving from village to village and finding work as a metalsmith where he could get it. It's a fascinating to think about a dwarf so proud and regal getting his hands dirty laboring for man.Related content

This is a very powerful artwork, anne. I always think of Thorin as a smith rather than a king. Do you think I can use this as an avatar for my fanfic, All About Thorin, over on fanfic.net? It really illustrates my story beautifully because Thorin doesn't die but goes back to his forge in Ered Luin to continue his life as a smith.
