Description
This is the first sketch I did using my new Surface Pro 3, using the program Drawpile. I wish that I just could instantly feel comfortable with digital creation, but that was part of the reason for getting this thing. At the very least, I would like to be able to comfortably doodle on this this, right?I left it unfinished because I figured out too late that I was drawing on the wrong layer. Also, as stupid as this sounds, I didn't realize the canvass extended further down, so the legs were left incomplete. Still, I started to get the hang of it as I went on. Maybe the next attempt can even make it out of the scraps.

It's good to see you back, Anne! I've tried more than once to get myself used to tablets too, but it never works for me; I'm just too wedded to the weird mouse-and-keyboard drawing technique I use. But I suspect you'll have a smoother transition from pencil to stylus; already, this looks like the Anne I remember

I think it's great! I know how difficult changing mediums can be. There's so much about it could comment on, but i'll just leave it as an awesome first work.
