Since I got a few questions about the arm guards for my Kenshin cosplay I put together a simple detail post.

Materials: sturdy fake leather, lining, linen string and hooks.

I tried using velcro for the attachment first, but the edge ended up bulging too much and looking just stupid, so I used hooks instead. With measuring just the right spots for them, the guards fit like.. uh... a glove. (I t-totally didn't say that out loud with the Ace Ventura voice) So these are custom sized just for me.
