haha, i have the same problem when i get a new idea too. the latest piece just ends up unfinished, on the top of the "pile of doom", as i call it..
so be happy that you have someone to grill your ass ^^ atleast you get things done!

My "pile of doom" is the worst kind, it doesn't even really exist, it only exists in my mind! Everytime I get a great idea, I think about it so much that in the end I feel too pressured and scared to start. I don't want to ruin the perfect image of it in my mind!
I'm really glad you're giving me freedom in doing this, it's really encouraging! I might experiment and play around with it a bit, so it might look different from the rest of the stuff in my gallery. Thank you!

the pressure is hard when you're a perfectionist, and don't want to let people down by drawing something not that perfect..
uhhoh, and i guess i can't take the bad critique, haha..
just enjoying about drawing ain't always so easy when you start to think "i gotta do this right, so many people are gonna see this.. bet they think this sucks.." it's not that fun anymore. i wanna draw for myself, dammit! and if other people like what i do, then great! ^^ i SO wanna get rid of that constant urge to please others. -wishful thinking.. T,T
the pressure has helped me a lot to make progress as an artist, but it kills creativity..
so yes! do what ever you please with it! (as long as i'm then able to still recognice it..

For me, it's more like I don't want to let myself down.
But I guess I know what you mean... I feel that a lot especially when I'm doing my assignments or commissions. But I'm trying to find freedom in doing my personal work now. Once you "let go" a little, if that makes any sense to you, drawing/painting can be so much more enjoyable.
And thank you!! I WILL enjoy coloring it, I'm determined to!

i don't wanna let myself down either. sometimes nothing's good enough for me.. depressing..
and i have this bad habit to make a bad mistake when the pic is almost ready, and after i realize it, my world collapses, haha.. and no matter how good the pic is, all i can see is the mistake and i end up hating it.. grrrrrrr
so no wonder i won't finish those pics ;3 +i'm lazy as hell..
aaa, you're having a break, that's good ^^ i'm going to study comics to folks school next semester, i need someone to kick me forward ;3 i hope i can finish my pics there better, haha

yeah, i'm pretty excited about it ^^ but very nervous too.. i'm gonna have to move 500km away from home and all. i still have no idea how i'll move my stuff there
and i'm not used to be critisized while i'm drawing, i gotta be left alone till i'm done so, i gotta get used to that too..
