Would have uploaded this a while ago, but my internet has been out since last monday. Why its been out depends on who you ask. Qwest claims that our service provider, Zianet, owes them x-million dollars and that's why they turned it off. Zianet says that yes, they owe Qwest money, but not THAT much money, and points out that their internet was cut off right after they filed a lawsuit against Qwest for unlawful business practices designed to run smaller ISPs out of business Zianet got a court to order Qwest to turn the internet back on until they can hash it out in court, and it was supposed to be up the next day. Over a week later . . .

I don't know what exactly is going on, but it's kinda suspicious that Qwest can turn off internet for southern New Mexico in one morning, but it takes them eight to nine days to turn it back on. It's been really wacky here; all the radio stations had to get temporary phone numbers and businesses have been scrambling for some way to communicate with customers. When we went to Zianet to find out what was happening we ran into a small lynch mob of senior citizens that had cornered the receptionist and were moaning about not being able to pay their bills and, more importantly, get to their online games. As they were leaving (me and my dad had to hide behind some chairs to avoid being trampled) one tiny little old man bent over his walker was wondering out loud what he ever did before google.

So if those of you who watch me are wondering why I'm dumping all these pictures on you at once, that's why. I don't know how long I'll have internet before Qwest throws a hissy fit and shuts it off again, so if I disappear for a while you know why.
