I simply think someone as energic as Rin wouldn't be a good match for Hinata, who is rather timid and quiet. People tend to compare Rin and Shiemi with Naruto and Hinata, but I honestly don't see how some people can say they're equals. Yeah, there are some similarities, but seriously... Rin gives a totally different vibe than Naruto. Shipping Rin and Hinata just because Rin and Naruto act similar is... I don't know, kinda empty. I mean, Hinata's love for Naruto isn't only based on personality. The reason why she loves him is way deeper than that -- I mean, c'mon... Naruto was her inspiration to become stronger, and she basically said his smile saved her -- and I honestly don't think she would just replace Naruto with some guy that acts like him. That'd be pretty sad; it'd almost feel like she's using Rin as a replacement. Note this comes from someone who doesn't like Naruhina that much. I'm personally a sucker for Sasuhina rofl. Besides, their relationship would be awkward as hell. Rin acts pretty awkward around Shiemi, and Hinata... 'guess I don't even need to explain it. It'd be hard for them to develop a relationship and open up to each other. That's one of the many differences I see between Rin and Naruto; Naruto is a more confident and outgoing than Rin -- I mean, it wasn't too difficult for Naruto to confess to Sakura, and he even asked her out in dates, acts naturally around her, ect. Rin, on the other hand, has a hard time with that kind of stuff; he hasn't confessed to Shiemi or anything -- although he seems to be trying to -- and even though it's not all the time, he tends to act flustered around her.

btw, I never said that Sakura would fall for Rin or viceversa. I just said Sakura would be a better match for Rin. I think Rin needs someone strong and courageous to his side; someone who can put up with him, support him and follow him. I'm not saying Hinata is not strong; it's just her character is too soft and gentle, and I can't see her dealing with someone as hot headed as Rin. Same goes to Sakura... She might still have feelings for Sasuke, but you can't deny he's toxic to her. I honestly don't think Sasuke deserves Sakura after all the things he's done, but then again, that's only my point of view. Well, regarding Rin and Sakura... I think their relationship would develop faster and more naturally. They'd probably clash at times since they're both short tempered, but that's the fun of couples. If they were perfect, they wouldn't be interesting at all lol.

First of all. I was making a point. And second, I like Hinata with anybody. In reality it's ONLY A FANDOM! And no, I do not agree. To say they LOOK better is just as empty. And you are very wrong about Hinata's character. She IS NOT ONLY SHY AND TIMD!! There is more to her then JUST THAT! It just shows how you think of Hinata. I'm actually a FAN! Not saying you aren't but it shows. She's been one of my favorite characters for ages! She would make up for Rin far more than Sakura would. And no, Sakura wouldn't think twice of dealing with him/ put up with it. One reason Sakura liked Sasuke was his looks. Another was his 'cool' personality. Rin isn't so much(even as he is aggressive), Hinata would deal with it more than Sakura would. She'd be kicking him away as much as possible. Hinata would have patients. An example would be Neji.(Even if he's her blood) It's also the same h her confession in a way. Her patience with Naruto is something. Even now, she fights to stand by him and be with him even as he's said nothing. She's a strong girl too.

I've also noticed Rin likes girls that have been through shit like he has. Sakura's been through nothing growing up. She lived a close to normal life. Right now, she's only going through issues within her team and feelings for both her teammates. Besides the war, she's been through close to nothing. She wouldn't understand Rin, like Hinata would. But that's just saying if both shows clashed. That will never happen. Again, it's all fan-based.

Third, their relationship would develop normally. Hinata and Rin aren't shy, ALL OF THE TIME! Also I read the ao no exorcist manga as well. I see more with Rin and Shiemi then the anime portrays. And yes, Shiemi and Hinata are similar. Shiemi is just a little ditz at times. However both are not afraid to kick someone's ass if they have to. Also Rin is very outgoing. NOW that he has more friends. If you noticed he talks more even with strangers and changes them just as quickly as Naruto does. And I may have mentioned that their personalities are similar and I see Hinata liking that; IT WAS NOT TO REPLACE NARUTO!! IT WAS A FACT I WAS MAKING ABOUT THE TYPE OF MEN SHE MAY LIKE!!! AGAIN, NOT A NARUTO REPLACEMENT!!!!!

It's simply an observation of her character that I've made. I figured she liked men with those types of personalities. Hinata isn't entirely shy, only at times. She's grown bolder. And as she gets older, it decreases. Being really shy as a kid is normal. Being somewhat shy as a teen is normal. Growing out of it is normal. She won't be in the shadows. Forever. Especially after Neji *died*(I'm still sad at that)

Also, just so you know...Naruto saving her with his smile and her falling in love with his strength. IS HIS PERSONALITY! IT'S WHO HE IS!! HIS PERSON!! HIM!! ON THE INSIDE! That's what I'm talking about.


And Rin being energetic would make up Hinata's character greatly. I also believe Rin would think Sakura as a bitch. He does of Izumo sometimes(I sjip them so hard on the show//I love it, it's hard to find good pics. ) and he especially does of Shura. But that s again, an observation of character. Personality is what makes a character or else they wouldn't be characters.
