Description
This was a fun and unique piece of color pencil drawing - my client tells a story where her parents got this portrait of their three young daughters at a fair, and now that her parents are separating, both of them wanted the picture for themselves even though the drawing itself doesn't necessarily resemble the appearance of the actual children. My task was essentially to replicate the original drawing, which was done in this interesting illustrative style on a 18x24 sized piece of blue-tinted paper. It was an interesting challenge of matching not only the style but the idiosyncracies of where the original artist put their strokes
