Yep... so... about this... I'd say I'm pretty satisfied with the character, and even some of the background (sky)... but... overall, I honestly am dissapointed with this. I don't know, i just lost all interest in it halfway through the process, and just finished it for the sake of it.The only part that I can REALLY say I had fun doing was her hair.

You need to work on the shadows though.
I think the ground should be darker in the spot where
the foot is, because it looks like it's floating. Maybe i'm wrong.

great color tones! I really did the nice, soft pastell colors and the elegant and natural posing. Her hair turned out awesome, I love all those single strands and highlight, great job.
The overall anatomy turned out good, however, her arms seems a tad too long to me and there's something wrong with the bending of her back (remember, that the spine has a double-S- shape). Her lower legs should be a bit longer (I sat down like she does and my feet were right unter my butt, but it also depends on how long the legs are). Her hands look nice, but the thumb of her right hand looks a bit too short. Apart from these small mismatches, you did an awesome job!

Owww, I never learn. Hmm, I don't know if it's the legs as whole, I think it's more like the feet are too short/small. The hand, thumb and back - you're absolutely right. I guess I really should use references from now on.

You don't always have to use refs, just in case you're not sure whether it's right or wrong. Just go on drawing, observe yourself in the mirror, people on the bus or tram and you'll get a better feeling for how the human body should look like. Even after many years of practice, drawing perfect anatomy is very difficult (that's my opinion at least ^^)

Awesome job on the hair, it seems to be reacting with gravity perfectly. In addition to that you have some great colour harmony going on and the design for the bird is really pretty!
I'm impressed!!
One thing I would note though, the elbow isn't 50/50 on the arm, it's throwing the proportions out.

Tricky. The arm just seems too long, there is a stretched feel the to figure. I can't put my finger on it.
The top and bottom of the arm are 50/50. So I normally get my finger and find the midpoint by measuring. try it.
