Description Pikachus in a forest! xD

For the contest at #PokemonCorner
A picture of my favourite Pokemon, Pikachu! *u*

I wanted to draw only two Pikachus at first but I got serious with this. xD The picture didn't turn out exactly what I want... probably because I'd been listening to Wind Waker songs while drawing this. <3
Took me a whole day oTL
I actually wanted the background to be like Ellinia in Maple Story lol

Oh, maybe just something like... well, I'm terribly 2-bit with
digital programs altogether. I've been scouring what tutorials I can find,
taking all the information I can get to actually learn how to use the
program, but everyone has their own ways of doing these things.
Unfortunately, I've had trouble finding many tutorials on here
that are as helpful as I had hoped.

I think it'd be great if you can explore the digital programs yourself, then you'll be able to find your own digital style~ Tutorials are great only for reference in my opinion, cuz everyone has their own styles and some of them may not suit your taste. ^u^
Maybe you can look up for some drawing process videos on Youtube, they can be helpful too!

Oh yeah, definitely. It's getting used to how to actually use the tools I've been having troubles with. The few tutorials I do find I take what information I can from it, but I'm getting more used to it with practice, just the initial explantion for how, say, the pen/path tool works. I remember when I first used photoshop Layers were the most bewildering thing I'd ever seen. Now I'm finally make some sense of them. Getting information from the tutorials helps you get through that first struggle, then there's just practice after that, so I was looking for tutorials to help me in that aspect, rather than the actual technique of the art itself. I'm learning. ^^
