I like how your interpertation of Fiver's vision would seem to effortlessly tie into the story of Watership Down if even there were a chance to explain it. And I agree with you that if Fiver didn't act as quickly as he did Hazel would have died.

I appreciate such a thoughtful comment. In the book and movie adaptations that particular scene gets me on the edge of my seat and close to tears every time! Everything has to happen just right for Hazelrah to survive!
Also, I'm sorry it took me so long to reply back...college was kicking my butt last semester.

Nah, that's ok. You have a life outside of the computer, that's completely understandable. But you're right, without Hazel-rah Watership would have fallen to General Woundwort. The book and the movie was so amazing, easily two of my favorites.

From what I've heard the book is awesome but the ending pissed a lot of people off, me including.

yes the black rabbit represents death in the rabbit culture. The other rabbit is kind of like their hercules. He was the first rabbit created and is always full of cunning and tricks. Also, it is indicated the this hercules rabbit elahrairah is a combination of many different real rabbits. A real rabbit does something amazing for his people and they start to retell the tale is if he was this prince of rabbits.

True, true!
I respect it lots when people know how to use them and other traditional materials properly cuz I myself can't really do that T_T
But still, traditional pictures are far more beautiful than digital ^^ Keep it up!

Keep practicing! I know there are alot of mediums that I can't use very well at all, either. I really get frustrated with digital art sometimes because people fall into niches and then can pull out art like a machine. It makes me feel like I will never keep up!!! AGH!!

Haha true, true...
I will practice! Yesterday I played with watercolor. It was pretty fun and looked very nice but when you scan the watercolor it looks very ugly so I had to work on it in Photoshop... Darn it, Photoshop again!

I am terrified of watercolors. i keep wanting to try them and I really want to use them with pastels and colored pencil for the James and the Giant Peach Competition...but I am so scared to start! My sister is on deviant and she makes AMAZING photoshop work...but she also is very good at traditional media...I think it frustrates me most when people just use photoshop and don't push themselves or even try with traditional methods.
can't wait to see your watercolor! I doubt its ugly

Ow, good luck with watercolor! I was scared of using it, too, but it came out to be pretty easy. As I understand it, you just need to have a soft hand and use layering. Many many many layers. Also, work fast.
