I've gone all my life pretending someone's there.A luxury I've enjoyed for far too long.
Lying to myself to keep my sanity.
Only to finally break down
Once I realize you're a lie.
Now I know there is no one there to save me.
Now I'm feeling a loss from something
That was never there to begin with.
There is no one to heal me, no one to touch me.
I can't wait for someone anymore, because the one I waited for doesn't exist.
But do I give up on you?
Do I go on to find someone real?
Or can this illusion satisfy me?
Can I be saved by a fantasy?
