I really love how this turned out. The contrast of the two armor styles on one body is very well done and not at all jarring as it could have been. The pensive conflict on her face is perfect.
Though it does amuse me that the craggy shard-sword is held in the hand of the blue gem, and the feathered sword in the hand of the shattered shard. <3

thanks... Rena's a complicated and conflicted character to begin with. It made this an extremely fun piece to work on.
I had some ideas for how to do the breastplate transitioning from one style to the other while still looking like one cohesive piece.. unfortunately the pose required literally didn't give me any room to play with that.
The way she's holding the swords also makes it impossible for her to use them without unfolding and untangling her arms first. ^_~

Heh, it looks like it ^_^ I would have loved to see that breastplate design.
And it you're that conflicted, perhaps it is a good thing to assume a pose that makes it hard to lash out. ^_~
